Nevada is so much more than Vegas lights, glitter, excitement. There is a robust history of exploration and development fueled by individuals seeking to hit it big.

First came discoveries of gold, silver, other valuable ore. Rough and ready mining towns sprung up quickly. Railroads followed rapidly bringing in supplies and taking out value. Bust followed boom as many finds played out. Left behind are remains, reminders and the present: ghost towns, railroads, remains of boom towns now inevitably evolved into calmer settled towns and cities.

Join us as we go exploring and set out to experience these stories for ourselves.
