The initial 43 mile rail corridor includes 10 stations, from Sonoma County Airport to Downtown San Rafael.<\/p>\n<p>Future extensions include: Larkspur (late-2019); Windsor; Healdsburg; and Cloverdale. When completed, SMART will be 70 miles of passenger rail service, with a companion bicycle-pedestrian pathway.<\/p>\n<p>Every two-car SMART train holds up to 158 seated passengers, 160 standing passengers, and 24 bicycles. Each car has large comfortable seats with tray tables, overhead storage, and big windows.
